Nerva Accommodation Cavour

Such cute rooms! The staff was very friendly and communicative. The location was close to everything including the train and colosseum. The breakfasts were nice, it was self served and it felt more like a private mini kitchen because we were sharing the breakfast space with only two other rooms who happened to not eat the same times as us.

The shower (at least in our room) was elevated (to preserve the stunning mosaic floor) so it could be hard to use if you’re elderly or have mobility issues. The power also turned off briefly a couple of times which was not too much of an issue if you’re in your room, but the keys are electronic and you can’t enter your room if there is no power. The water also was turned off late at night one time, but maybe that was just maintenance?

I had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend it. Comfortable and convenient. The location was excellent. It was very easy to get around, with Cavour Metro station just a short walk away, while many of Rome’s main sights were also accessible on foot (10min from Colosseum). The air conditioning, water and ice, and slushies at reception were especially appreciated during the very hot weather! The elevator was definitely a life saver after walking all those steps! The staff were friendly and helpful, and everything about the stay felt easy and well organised. Overall, I had a really pleasant stay and felt very comfortable here as a solo traveller. The combination of the great location, comfortable room, good breakfast and friendly service made it an excellent base for my time in Rome. I would happily stay here again.

Close to downtown

Everything was ok

Staff was helpful. Shared kitchen provided but we didnt use it. Dont think many people will be able to use it in one go.

Bathroom too small to stand and could barely move. Only head shower, no hand shower. Quite a lot of sound from other rooms.
