Lunuganga By Teardrop Hotels

The location was fantastic and there was plenty of space. Restaurant was also great with good choices on menu. Bartender was also excellent! We had a really good time at this location exactly the way we expected. Even though the location was remote, the hotel had excellent connectivity of local tuk tuk drivers and taxis who would show up within minutes to take us to the town, shopping or restaurants. The staff were all terrific and the duty managers were always there whenever we needed help or some suggestions. The bartender even made drinks which are not on the menu when requested. They also had the most amazing set-up for a celebration we did.

The only super minor gripe was that the pool was far from main property and not accessible in the evenings which was not a big deal but would have been nice to be able to use the pool at evening during sunset.

It was such a great experience staying at this magnificent resort/ home of Geoffrey Bawa’s. To soak it all in while relaxing with a couple of very good gin and tonics, after a wonderful tour of the garden with Krishna, who was able to give us in-depth knowledge & history of the property. Thank you we loved our stay plus experiencing the most amazing electrical storm, with thunder crashing directly overhead in the early hours of the day.
