A great place to explore Landau and the Pfalz, visit firends. Presumably also good for conferencing which they appear to be specializing in. Rather chic interieur, lovely staff, good breakfast.
On the day of departure, suddenly the key cards stopped working in the late morning - but that was by mistake as the concierge said.

Third visit to this superb hotel. Friendly staff in all departments, superb facilities , excellent breakfast and outstanding spa.

The hotel is located well for the city centre with lots of restaurants. There is a beautiful lake with wildlife and walking directly behind the hotel. The food available for breakfast was excellent however the flow of the room is not so good with lots of points you have too wait for others eg the drinks machine.
For a wellness weekend the fact that the sauna and steam room was closed, and the leisure pool were extremely cold would have stopped me booking this weekend visit. The welcome package was not in the room as expected and the room wasn't as clean as we would have expected.
