Marburger Hof

Have stayed in Marburger Hof several times previously - very good hotel between train station and old town and very close to the Lahn. Quite a lot of shops nearly. We had a lovely room (water provided) which was quiet. Excellent breakfast and an outside area to sit for a coffee. Nice lobby with FOC tea. Car parking under hotel but not immediately beside hotel so you go round again and pull in before hotel (easy to get to) - steep slope down / up - railing beside each space which most would not be used to.

Re parking - as said above steep slope down and up and railings beside each space which may be difficult with a larger car. Wasn't an issue for us but it is a mainly uphill walk to main square / Rathaus etc - you can also walk close to the Lahn and get a lift ( actually two) that takes you most of the way up and we used that going up in the evenings.

Breakfast in the restaurant was amazing

Good location.

Unfortunately evening restaurant & bar was closed.

Breakfast and Hotel location is very convenient.

the reception employee found a mistake in my check-in application, he was unfriendly, mistake can happen always and apply corrections must be done with smile ;) no reason to be annoyed.
