Bye Rome Guesthouse

The room was cleaned every day, which was great and kept everything clean and comfortable throughout our stay. The bed was also comfortable, and we slept well. The location is excellent, very close to Termini Station, with easy access to both the metro and trains. Most of the main tourist attractions are also within easy reach. The WiFi was very good, and the host was very responsive and easy to communicate with.

The water pressure was quite low, and hot water was often unavailable especially when other guests are showering as well (we could hear the water flow). We usually had to wait a couple of minutes for the water to warm up. The pillows were very thin, and there were no blankets provided, only sheets. Since we stayed at the end of September, the nights were already quite chilly, so an extra blanket would have been appreciated. Our window faced another hotel rather than a garden or an open view. It could also be quite noisy in the morning at times, and there was sometimes a noticeable smell from the preparation of food. We also had a shared entrance and hallway with three other rooms. This wasn't completely clear to us from the photos and description on Booking.com.

The closeness to Roma Termini station. Also lots of shops. Having a small kitchen with availability of hot water a plus.

Hearing lots of noise at night. The area becomes very lively and I had to leave the window open because it was hot. It was a bit hard to sleep.
