Great central location , but still quiet. Lovely little cosy balcony for 2. Great for an early evening drink. Barbara is lovely and let us in to our apartment several hours early. Would definitely stay again . St Gilgen is lovely, relaxing , with great places to eat . Parking onsite which made things easy.

Barbara, the innkeeper is the best host of any private guesthouse I've ever stayed at. Highly personal and genuinely interested in every aspect of our stay. She let us check in hours early, personally carried my wife's suitcase up the stairs, and personally found and walked us to a parking place for our car. In addition, she cooked and served the breakfast for every guest. What a wonderful woman!!!!

It was a lovely place in the center of town with parking. Rooms are all renovated and beautiful. Host was very kind. Breakfast was great!

Great location near to the centre of town.
Breakfast buffet was good.
The owner made a mistake with our booking and put us in a 1 bed apartment rather than a 2 bed apartment. There were no other 2 bed apartments available anywhere in the area so we had no choice other than to accept the 1 bed apartment.
We were given a complimentary breakfast as a good will gesture but this didn't really compensate for having to cram into a small flat and sleep on a sofa bed for 8 nights.
