This is an incredibile palazzo from the mid-1800s. Dorotea has lived there since the early 1970s and has worked hard to restore and maintain it. The frescos, the period furnishings, and the collections of historical objects are all exquisite. We stayed in the suite, which was very comfortable, and enjoyed the views of the city and mountains. I have never stayed in such an extraordinary building and it was a real treat.
Nothing really.

Wonderful property. Super nice owner and staff. Wish we had been able to leave a little later and tour the whole house. Follow the guidance for how to get there, if you come in from the wrong side, is tough to get to; is no problem if you follow the instructions

The breakfast was the best we had served in an unbeatably beautiful room
