The location to the beach and town were a few minute walk.
The staff was helpful in obtaining taxis and helpful with the luggage
The view from the roof top terrace was wonderful.
The stairs were very narrow - not advised for anyone with a balance problem.
No instruction was given an out the shared refrigerator space and 1/2 our food from the refrigerator was gone when we returned to the lodge after a morning out hiking.

Location was ok
Always trying to upsell me, was 3 times the cost of other hostels Ive stayed in Ecuador, the dorm was stuffy…it would have been very smelly and hot if I wasnt there alone, did that thing where they short your change and pretend they didnt notice and make no move to correct it. Super scammy feeling all around
