We really liked the cottage itself, how well it was equipped with everything that we could wish for to have a wonderful stay near the lake - bicycles, playground for kids, sauna, lake, motorized boat. We had a fox visiting on several occasions which was very fun for kids to see but made us a bit weary because the fox was clearly a bit too comfortable with people and expected food. Very comfortable drying closet to get the towels and swimming suits dry quickly. Kitchen felt lived in - all most necessary things could be found in the shelves including salt, baking paper, coffee filters, some tea, vinegar and such. Our kids really appreciated the playground, little bicycles and the toys that were available near the playground - even completely news ones still in the packaging. We also like to play table tennis. Lake seems to be swarming with fish. a good location for fishermen.

We were pretty bummed when we realized that our cottage didnt have a heated water bath next to it. by the photos we had understood it will be there but when more detailed information was shared after booking, it turned out only 2 cottages have them. It felt like the surrounding were not cared for for a while. The grass around the house was a little long, sandbox at the house had some weeds growing in it and playground was covered in long weeds too which we ended up cleaning enough for the kids to be able to use what they liked most. Tennis court was completely covered in weeds and not usable. The location is a little far from the nearest city Imatra but otherwise lovely location.

The place is even better than on the pictures. There are two saunas, one in the house and one in a hut. The one is the hut is a wood burning sauna and it is right next to the lake. The kitchen is large and fully loaded with anything you would need. The beds are very comfortable. The surrounding area is beautiful.

The location is quite far from any grocery store.

We had the 27 E, which was modern & was equipped with a private hot tub, 2 saunas, 3 bicycles and the selling point, THE FREE BOAT! Having a master bedroom with a set of toilet and bathroom downstairs worked very well for us! There were 3 other bedrooms with the second set of toilet and bathroom upstairs. The view of the lake from the inside was amazing. The large balcony looking out to the lake equipped with BBQ facility & dinning table was the cherry on top. A very peaceful and quiet place with abundance of free outdoor activities. Fishing gear & stand up paddle could be hired with reasonable price. There were abundance of plates, glasses, cutleries and cups. The hot tub was filled for us and ready to use. We appreciated the dryer in the laundry. Lots of timbers were supplied for the sauna and fire pit. Absolutely loved the view of the lake & having a boat, which you could either paddle or drive and immerse in tranquility of the nature.

No a/c or fan in bedrooms, so very hot in summer. Previously noted hole in fly screen in one of the bedrooms remained The air conditioner in staircase leaked & didn’t work properly. The lights over the cooktop did not work and they were not replaced despite we asked for it. Kitchen was missing a bread knife & a small knife. A wooden chopping board would have been nice. No champagne glasses, so we brought our own. Mosquitoes and March flies were horrible but it had nothing to do with the summer house. It was a part of the nature.
