We decided to spend a day by the pool which we really enjoyed. The included breakfast was a highlight and of course great view from the top . Staff always very friendly and the place is run efficiently .
We knew Sciccosa was off the beaten track but it is quite out of the way - as in no public transport, or restaurants around and taxis dont seem to like going up that side of the mountain . We didn't have a car so decided to walk down to station a few mornings (35 min walk ) and then got bus up to Taormina which was fine . So only had to pay for a few cab rides up in the afternoons - had to get a cab to station very early departure morning which was 50 euros!
The rooms have thin walls hence hearing your neighbours a lot .

Very modern, superb view of Castelmola and Taormina across a huge valley. We had a room with ocean view and we loved it.
The road to get there is a bit special with many turns

Very nice and kind hosts, cleanliness, peaceful atmosphere, nice breakfast ! We really enjoyed our stay, even managed to use the pool in begging of October, spectacular views… 🩷
The only bad thing is the location - definitely need a car to / from the accommodation.

We stayed for two nights. The staff was friendly but not particularly attentive. The view is great, but the pictures looked more promising than the reality.
The walls are very thin – you hear everything from next door. The room felt a bit old and dark, the bathroom just okay and sometimes no hot water in the shower. Breakfast was very basic and not really healthy.
