SRNTY Sea Reef - Ex Serenity Alpha Beach

A large, green territory was one of the main things I looked for when choosing this hotel, and I really enjoyed its gardens and relaxing atmosphere. The house reef, with its colourful fish and marine life, is another highlight. The entertainment programme was excellent, with a variety of high-quality evening shows and plenty of activities organised by the animation team throughout the day. The personalised service also deserves special mention. Mr. Keroloes, the manager, was very welcoming, explained everything upon arrival and checked afterwards to make sure everything was alright. I also appreciated my renovated room’s side sea view. The staff throughout the resort are very friendly, attentive and always willing to help.

The hotel is currently undergoing renovation, which I actually find commendable. Some areas and rooms could use updating, but it is clear that the management recognises this and is actively working to refresh the grounds and modernise the rooms to provide the guests with better service.

The food and restaurants, especially the beach restaurant for breakfast and dinner, was really good.

The beach. We looked at a lot of hotels to find a hotel with a good beach and many of the reviews were not honest about the beach. We were very disappointed by the beach. It was very shallow (like 30-40 cm for about 50m). It was not very sandy and on a bit of an incline so not very pleasant to spend time on. Once you got in the water and walked through the shallow part you would be told by the lifeguard to go back because there was a steep drop off with the reef of about 25-30m. So the only way to really enjoy the sea was by entering into the very deep sea through the dock and either snorkel or swim in the very deep. While we enjoyed the snorkeling, this is not what we were came for and wished that the property was clearer about the beach situation with photos or description.

The food was truly delicious and of very high quality, and the cleanliness was excellent. They clean and maintain the hotel throughout the entire day. Ahmed at the reception was incredibly helpful. We could always count on him for anything we needed, and he was very kind and helpful to us from the very first moment. It’s a huge hotel with lots of pools and entertaining evening shows. During our one-week stay, there were even two “festival” evenings. The coral reef is beautiful, and the cocktails are absolutely delicious. The entire staff is extremely friendly and always goes out of their way to make you happy and ensure you have a great experience. I can highly recommend this hotel, it was truly the best hotel experience!
