La Poupardoise

The property comprises three rooms in an old building with wonderful view over the harbour. One room per floor. More like an Air-B-&-B than a B&B, as the owners were not on site, but provided breakfast items to the room. Delightful stay in Honfleur. The owners contacted us before our arrival with details about Honfleur and where we could park our car for free. Madame greeted us warmly and showed us our room, pointing out the tea, coffee, jams for breakfast etc. We could see a lot of thought and care had been taken with the layout and decor of the room we stayed in. Having two windows allowed the breeze to flow through. We also enjoyed hearing a talented busker entertaining patrons of the restaurant opposite from the comfort of our room with a glass of wine. Everything was lovely and we enjoyed a relaxing stay. Market day is a must too. We'll definitely book again when visiting Honfleur!

Not a negative but something to be aware of. There is a spiral staircase to the room which is quite tight if you have luggage. We only had a small suitcase so it wasn't an issue for us. Madame offered to help with our luggage thinking we had more but we didn't need her assistance.

Very nice room, perfect location

Perfect location. Creative and whimsical decor. Immaculate with everything possibly needed close at hand. Very friendly and helpful owners. A delightful visit.

Don’t bring too much luggage if you are in the top bedroom as it is a narrow climb!
