We stayed in the “Metal” apartment (the one with the yellow bedspread in the photos), so our review only refers to this particular apartment. What we liked: The location is very central and convenient, making it easy to get around and reach most places quickly. The apartment itself is spacious, and we found both the bed and pillows comfortable. There is also air conditioning, which was very helpful during the hot weather. Overall, the apartment has all the basic amenities you need for a stay.

The biggest issue for us was the bathroom. From around the third day of our stay, there was a fairly strong sewage smell coming from the toilet area, and the toilet itself was also leaking. In addition, there were quite a few smaller maintenance and cleanliness issues that added up over the course of our stay. The toilet seat was cracked and kept coming loose; the hand soap ran out on the third day, so we had to buy our own; and the toothbrush holder still had toothpaste residue from previous guests and had clearly not been cleaned properly. There was also some mould in the corners of the shower, and the drain worked poorly. As a result, while showering, water could sometimes overflow from the shower area onto the bathroom floor. Some of the equipment could also use replacing or repairing. The ironing board and clothes drying rack were both quite warped and awkward to use, the iron leaked water, and one of the lights in the kitchen extractor hood was not working. Finally, for a seven-night stay, it would have been very helpful to have a spare set of towels for each guest. Because of the high humidity, towels took a very long time to dry. We washed ours a couple of times during the stay, but because they dried so slowly, we were effectively left without usable towels for quite a while.
