Hotel Tsiskari

We loved staying at Hotel Tsiskari, everything was perfect. Hosts are very friendly and helpful. Food is delicious and the rooms are very clean. Would absolutely recommend it ! There are a lot to do around, so it’s worth staying for several days.

A very cozy guesthouse with a beautiful flower-filled courtyard, lovely decor, and comfortable beds that make for a great night’s sleep! Everything in the room is thoughtfully arranged down to the smallest detail, including disposable toothbrushes, and the bathroom is wonderful — clean, beautiful, and very comfortable. A special mention goes to the hosts, who are incredibly kind and welcoming and make you feel like a truly valued guest. Thank you for the comfort, care, and warm atmosphere! I would happily stay here again and recommend this guesthouse to anyone looking for a comfortable and welcoming place to stay.

We enjoyed our stay very much. It is a working farm, so there are animals around, but my family enjoyed being around the critters and going for walks around the fields and ridges behind the property. The host family is very kind and their children are well behaved. Rooms look very new and everything was absolutely clean. Climate control worked well and shower was nice. Breakfast was good.

The young lady who worked at the reception was friendly.

I suppose its cultural, but when I arrived I was met with intimidating faces from the male staff. Two of them came out to me when I parked. They looked me up and down but didn't smile or say anything. Just watched me as I walked past them to the reception. The same happened the next day when I saw them. Not welcoming. Then there are two friendly dogs who hang out at the entrance. Only problem is that they smell awful. I lived on a farm with dogs and have been in the Caucuses for a month. These dogs smelt worse than I have experienced. And you have to walk past them every time you go in and out of the hotel. If this place wants to compete as an upscale vineyard/hotel, then they need to improve their service and appearance. Also, I attempted a wine tasting but was told I could not because the person who gives the tasting was not there. I said I would just pay for a flight of 3 wines. This ended up being 50 GEL which is basically the price of three full glasses of wine at a nice restaurant in Tbilisi. The wine itself was ok.
