Tudor Court Hotel

Old but well cared for hotel super close to Paddington Station. Owner/manager & employees were welcoming, helpful, and polite. Carried our luggage up without having to ask. Bathroom was very clean & appeared newly remodeled. Beds were very comfortable w/lovely bed linens. Cute little park across the street

This hotel is not for the faint of heart. It was 67 steps up to our room. Steep. We stayed two nights, We were gone the entire second day because we knew we couldn’t do those stairs more than once. After climbing those 67 steps the first night, we learned the water in the room was not potable (there was a sign in the bathroom. If the room doesn’t have drinking water, at the very least, you should provide bottled water in the room. I would NOT recommend this place to anyone overweight or with some meat on them. I’m 5’5” 135lbs & when I turned around in the shower, my rear turned the water lever to straight cold & I about died of shock! Very, very, very small shower.

Close to where I needed to be. Staff were extra friendly and very helpful, room was very clean.

The room was more compact than expected- the advertising images used were take at such an angle to make the room look larger than actual size. Having to pay £10 extra on top of room fee to make use of Air Conditioning. The noise from the trains both underground and overground, made the room vibrate throughout the night making sleeping quite difficult. Not something that could be helped due to location near Paddington Station, but something to be considered in future.
