Hotel Cetus

Private beach, easy walk into Cetara. Great terrace. Nice bar with great view and the staff working on bar duties and breakfast were lovely and at the beach bar.

Reception staff were robotic and not as genuine as the waiting staff and cleaners. Some interiors, like curtains and the bed could do with an upgrade. Hotels at this level should offer bath robes not just slippers.

I don’t know where to start. We had the absolute best time at Hotel Cetus and urge everyone to consider this as a home base for your Amalfi Coast Stay. The hotel is beautiful with the most amazing views in every room. The private beach is exceptional. During our stay in September we got front row seats every day and there was hardly anyone at the beach. The beach facilities are pristine with very clean and nice bathrooms and an eating area for lunch. We even took out the kayak one day and had an adventure exploring the coast. We opted for the room with a spa bath and are so happy we did. It added a lot to our stay to be able to sit in the tub at night and sip some wine. The spa bath is big enough for two people and feels more like a pool/hot tub. The room itself was also very comfortable and well thought out. Great temperature control, many lighting options, easy sliding door that you can keep open to get an outdoor/indoor feel, and spacious shower. The restaurant was very yummy and great value. Compared to our overpriced dinner in Positano, this was a great deal. Lastly, being close to Cetara ended up being a highlight of our stay. We did not expect to like the town as much as we did. It is truly a hidden gem of Amalfi with wonderful restaurants and views. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a quiet and relaxing escape on the Amalfi Coast.

The only thing I’ll note is that Cetara is far from other Amalfi towns, so do not stay here if you want to prioritize seeing as much as possible. We quite enjoyed doing a boat day trip to Capri and an evening trip to Positano, but it would have been a lot to try to see all the other towns.

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Cetus in Italy! The hotel is beautiful, the location is breathtaking, and the atmosphere is peaceful and relaxing. Our room was comfortable and spotless, and the staff were friendly, welcoming, and attentive. Everything was perfect from start to finish. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend Hotel Cetus to anyone visiting the Amalfi Coast!

I liked the location

for the price there were no tissues in the room and the place was not as clean to my standards. there was garbage under the sofa and comforter was stained . Some staff members were not as friendly as other places we have been to and made me feel I was interrupting them or bothering them when I asked for something .
