Villas Kalimba

A private oasis in a busy beach town, this is by far the best place to stay in the town of Samara. The entire property is meticulously maintained and the tropical gardens are stunning. The staff are warm and friendly people who truly make their guests feel welcome and willing to help with anything you could possibly need. Thank you Laura, the wonderful bartenders, the property managers, the smiling gardener and cleaning staff. Our villa was quaint and private with all the comforts we needed and some unique character. Good ACC in the bedroom for sleeping! Location is across from the beach, you can borrow boogie boards and chairs to take over. Also we felt safety and security on the property were top notch.

Some windows weren’t completely airtight but we didn’t really notice mosquitos inside. Outside the gates of Kalimbas it can be a bit grubby as you’re located in the heart of town and across from the beach. Samara is a vibrant friendly beach town with lots of tourist and local families walking around but it’s a town for the more laid back chill traveller.

The staff is extremely kind and helpful. Laura was super! The proximity and beach access is great.

Our villa was a bit noisy. The cleaning staff come around 9-10 and we usually weren’t ready to leave yet.

The facility is beautiful, very secure, and you get to know the staff personally who are highly dedicated to providing you an amazing experience. When I first arrived, I casually mentioned a few needs without making any specific request; I needed ice for my knee, I needed laundry cleaned. The staff were immediately on it. They are more like a family inviting you into their home. The proximity to the beach is great, a one minute walk across the street without all the crowds the facilities directly on the beach have, so you get the best of both at your fingertips. The restaurant served delicious food including home made pasta. The grounds are lush and each villa has it's own privacy.

I can't think of one thing I would change.

Very calm and comfortable and clean, amazing staff, very delicious food, very nice furniture, everything made with love :-) The beach is just a 3-min walk away :-))
