Les Bergeries "Le figuier"

What a beautifully restored cottage for two! A masterwork in wood and stone. We loved the architecture and beautiful details. A lot of love has gone into this restoration. The covered porch is great for breakfast and afternoon drinks and provides shade when needed, the view and location are very special, the garden has fresh herbs, figs, sunbeds and a plungepool. All the romance of an old stone cottage combined with all the mod cons and very well equipped (BBQ, plenty of towels, coffee, tea, biscuits, oil, spices, kitchenfoil etc. etc.). Communication with Ange-Marie was easy and he provided a warm welcome. Omessa is a lovely quiet village and from here you have easy access to the beautiful town of Corte and Golo Gorge. We highly recommend to include this cottage for a number of days into your itinerary for your trip to Corsica.

The matrass was a bit softer then what we are personally used to, but don't let that deter you from booking. This is a very nice place to stay and get a glimpse of the real Corsica.

L'accueil d'Ange-Marie et la présentation personnalisée du lieu. L'originalité et le calme de ce lieu authentique...et confortable (on n'a plus 20 ans). Proximité de Corte, de la Restonica...et vue sur le mont Cinto.
