Hotel Korpikartano

We absolutely loved our 3-night stay at Hotel Korpi Kartano! Just one hour after arriving, we were able to see the Northern Lights dancing over the lake right on the hotel's shore—an unforgettable and extremely convenient experience. The hotel's location on the lake is beautiful. The room gave the feel of living in a cottage on the lake. Just outside the room, there was a microwave and fridge, along with an electric kettle, which made it very easy for us to prepare our own food during the stay. Breakfast was good! We have no complaints overall.

The only minor thing we noticed was the lack of shower gel, though this seems to be common across most hotels in Finland. We loved our stay and would highly recommend it!

The lake and surrounding wilderness trails were wonderful. We were able to see the northern lights on one night and that was a magical experience. Blueberries and lingonberries were everywhere and delicious. Friendly staff. Good breakfast. Cozy room with wooden interiors.

The 2 tiny beds were inadequate for a couple. One full or double bed would have been much much nicer.

WOW!! Excellent hotel in an excellent place!! Outside: beautiful nature around (forest, lake), complete silence, enough space to park a tank. Inside: the room was pretty big, beds were extremely comfortable, sauna made us super happy :-) I do not have to add that everything was perfectly clean. Breakfast served by a nice lady was very tasty. And the last but not least: the person who welcomed us at the reception (I am sorry, I didn't ask for the name): man, you were the nicest and the most friendly person we met in Finland !!! SUPER POSITIVE impression !!!! Thank you for everything !!! Fully recommended place to stay !!!! :-)))
