Résidence Odalys Terra Gaia

So much easier having an apartment, instead of a hotel room, as you get a little kitchenette which is very handy. Rooms are lovely and spacious, with a usable balcony. Contains everything you would need for a week, and you can borrow things like iron & ironing board from reception. Swimming pool is never as busy as you'd think it would be. Location is excellent for exploring Sete, Agde, Beziers, etc. Excellent.

Literally the only "negative" we can come up with is that the swimming pool closes at 7pm, which is quite early for our preference!

The staff are extremely helpful and friendly. They are also very forgiving of our non-existent French-speaking skills! The rooms are clean and well appointed, with a decently stocked kitchenette. They have a clever system for larger bookings where you actually get adjoining rooms with a connecting door (which means 2 x bathrooms and 2 x kitchenettes!). The beds are comfy, and you can hire towels if you need them. They'll also loan you an iron /ironing board if needed. Each room has a balcony. In the block we've stayed in our rooms have either overlooked the pool (and if you're lucky a sliver of sea, which is a max 10 min walk away), or the lake (plus sunset 🌇). The communal areas are all very clean and well maintained. The pool is lovely, not heated but does maintain a comfortable temperature during the summer. The pool is also never as busy as you'd think it would be, and we've always managed to get sunbeds. Have only used the little gym once - has 1 x each of treadmill, bike, and crosstrainer. Haven't ever used the sauna. We've stayed here a few times now, and plan to return each year.

Literally only "negative" I can think of is that the swimming pool opens quite late (10am).

1 Bed Apartment Hotel with Balcony facing the Bassin was great. Close to beach and some local shops. Bus Stop right outside. Good value for money- would definitely stay again.

Apartments are a distance from Town but regular Bus service is good. A/c overflow dripped onto Balcony from above..
