A lovely stay at Beach Cottage just perfect for a group of us attending tunes in the dunes. Thank you

The property was clean and spacious. Large bedrooms with storage and good quality linen. All the bathrooms are well fitted and easily operated. The large terrace was a good space for the family to sit together and the dining room was great for the family to eat together around the large table. Heating etc was easy to operate on the colder nights. The beach can be reached by walking but it's a challenging walk. It's a quiet area which is perfect for watching the sunset and star gazing. This property was good value for what we paid.

Had an amazing weekend at the lovely Beach Cottage. Stunning views, great location and the property had literally everything you could need. There were 10 of us and our dog for the weekend and the house still felt huge, lots of room for everyone. Immaculate bedding and towels, fully stocked kitchen utensils, pans, bbq etc. lovely walk down the coastal path to the amazing Porthtowan beach, local supermarkets only a short drive. 100% returning for another break when we can.

We stayed at the property with family, including a one-year-old child. Overall, it provided a good base for our Cornwall trip, as we spent most of our time out exploring the local area.The outdoor space could benefit from some maintenance. The shrubs and bushes around the garden and decking area would benefit from trimming, as they partially obstructed the sea view. The grassed areas also appeared to need mowing. For families with young children, it is worth noting that the decking railing did not feel particularly secure.Inside, the property was generally clean; however, some areas would benefit from more thorough dusting and scrubbing to bring them up to a higher standard. There was also a noticeable damp smell throughout the property during our stay. The bathrooms could benefit from brighter lighting, and the flooring throughout the property is becoming dated and would benefit from updating. With a little more attention to detail in the décor and furnishings, the rooms could feel more cohesive, comfortable, and cosy.The kitchen was adequately equipped for our needs; however, the oven gloves were quite worn and would benefit from being replaced.Access to the property requires care, as there were two large potholes on the approach road during our stay.Despite these points, we enjoyed our time in Cornwall and found the property to be a suitable base for exploring the surrounding area.
