Stay was to short!!!

Relaxing, welcoming, stylish, comfortable, affordable.

Very convenient location for me. Great access to shops and restaurants too.

Distance to Oxford Street and the river/public transport was very convenient. The room is decorated beautifully with nice paintings done by the owner's wife. Nice view from the bed into the front garden.

The host texted me the day before and asked me to tell him what time we would get there. We were on holiday and wanted to spend the day relaxing, not planning everything. When we got there, there was a locksmith working on the bathroom door (that opened into the garden). When he left, he hadn't fixed the door properly so we couldn't have locked bathroom doors our whole stay. When we were out, the host would come into our room and do things like turn the aircon off and put the remote back in the holder. He came into our room twice without telling us when we were out. That made things uncomfortable. Yes it's your house, but I am paying good money for this room. Breakfast was do it yourself, no best before dates on the packages of bread. On the morning we left, another couple had arrived and the husband was having a sticky beak around the property, stuck his head round the corner and got a full view of me naked having just stepped out of the shower. There are no signs around the property telling people there are people staying in rooms and not to walk along the verandah in front of occupied rooms. All around an uncomfortable stay.
