Istanbul Town Hotel

Good localization - close to tram and metro. Good connection to the airport, good starting point for walks, shops, restaurants - everything within reach very comfortable beds. Very nice cleaning lady, daily service, towels changed, it was nice to come back to a clean room after a whole day of sightseeing

A very standard breakfast, the same every day... very weak coffee... the hotel shows signs of wear and tear; the room/bathroom/dining room could use some renovation/refreshing. The daily wake-up call around 7:00 AM was absolutely pointless.

Very nice hotel well positioned. Close to the main attractions & Metro Line. Comfortable cozy room.

Room smelt of cigarette smoke when we arrived. Passages smell of cigarette smoke all the time but supposed to be non-smoking hotel. Otherwise, everything else was good.

The staff and location were fantastic

Very helpful staff, and friendly, too. I've stayed 5 days, so the bellboys changed several times. All were doing a great job, made me feel welcome and at home. Breakfast was quite diverse, well-cooked, balanced, and as healthy or unhealthy as one prefers. You could have a boiled egg and fresh veggies OR a fried eggs, beef pastami and french fries - or a bowl of cereal - there was a thing for everyone. I really liked the coffee. The tastiest coffee I've had in a while. The towels were changed every day, the water was brought in my room (which was extremely helpful in August) daily, all the appliances in the room were in the working conditions - and also, the hotel is very well located - i was just across the street from where the event had been held, and it's near the main public transportation stations, too. The toiletries were provided by the hotel - basically, they're true to their description, more or less. What they claim really is either in the room, or provided at request, like an iron, for instance.

The socket for the kettle was not working, had to move the kettle to the bedside table for a working electrical socket. You might wanna fix that
