Chiang Dao Hostel

everything it's perfect. the rooms the balcony the river the view the location the wonderful staff the kitchen everything is perfect.

july 2026- there are construction on permesis so it's noisy everyday. but still worth it ...

Nice hostel with some toast and a fridge which is useful. Beautiful setting and plenty toilets and showers. Also a bargain!

Beautiful little place. Not like a hotel, but like a typical thai style house. Pretty little stream running alongside the property and no street noise. Clean, didn’t notice any bugs or smells - other reviews on here seemed pretty harsh to me. Perfect location from the bus station, where you can pick up a taxi. Owner available on whatsapp any time, and can help book treks when they’re open. Room was INCREDIBLE value and I slept so well. Make sure you go to TATA cafe recommended by the hostel - such a hidden gem.

Location, kitchen, staff.

Dirty sheets, i asked them to change it, and when i checked out, i noticed they just made the bed and didn't change the sheets. Bad mattress, it has a hole in the middle, not comfortable for your back when you sleep. Also the bathroom was dirty, and the water pressure of the shower head was low.
