The Mayflower Apartments in Hermanus, South Africa, were phenomenal from the moment we arrived. Every detail was perfect—both apartments have cozy balconies with a little barbecue, a well-stocked kitchen, and a bathroom with everything a couple could need. There’s gated parking for each apartment, which gave us peace of mind. The host was simply phenomenal—so kind and attentive from start to finish. We originally planned to stay just one night, but because we loved it so much, we extended for a second. The location is wonderful—so close to everything, and sometimes even walkable during the day. Truly a wonderful, wonderful experience!

The property was within walking distance to shops and the beach for whale watching. Very clean and and had everything needed for self contained.

The only thing was going up steps with the cases but it was no biggy.

I loved everything about the apartment. It is cozy, comfy and clean and has everything you need. It is quiet with a nice mountain view. Jenny and her family are wonderful hosts and I totally fell in love with the dog Benji.

It was cozy but a few the hygiene was questionable. Found blood in my long pillows, there was no shower gel, the shower was blocked and had to get help. Saturday night I showered in lukewarm water and the weather was icy.

The location was good and it felt cozy
