Hotel Rüttenscheider Stern

I really like the location. Very close to the metro stop. The room was small, but was cosy and clean. The furniture, the lights and simple details like hangers were nice and practical. Breakfast was OK, nothing very special, but also good enough for me to have a quick and good start to the day and not get hungry for a while. It's a nice neighbourhood, I enjoyed it for dinners and drinks in the evening. I will stay here again if I go back.

I liked almost everything. Perhaps some simple guest slippers would be good.

The location is excellent, in one of the best neighbourhoods in Essen. The breakfast is excellent, complete and offers a great variety. The staff are always friendly, welcoming and helpful. After trying many hotels in Essen over the years, this has become my favourite hotel, and I have been staying here regularly for around five years.

There is honestly very little to complain about. After staying here many times, I continue to be very satisfied with the hotel and its overall service.

had an excellent stay. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The staff were friendly, professional, and always willing to help. The location was convenient, and the overall atmosphere was relaxing and welcoming.

Nothing significant to mention. Everything met or exceeded my expectations, and my stay was very enjoyable.

rooms, location close to main streets for cafes and breakfast was wonderful.

no one on reception when we arrived - phoned and told to help ourselves to room key cards !! reception was open and key cards easily accessible in pigeon holes and on the desk - anyone could help themselves.
