Bayview Lakefront Inn

The view of the lake was wonderful.

When I booked our room, I asked for a handicap room; wheelchair accessible. My wife can walk with the aid of two canes. She's also overweight and 78 years old, I'm 80 with balance issues of my own. There was no curb cut from the drive for my wife's wheelchair to get up to the sidewalk outside our door, luckily, we had our small ramp with us. The step up to the door was at least 8-10 inches high, again having to use our ramp for the wheelchair, but the incline was so steep we could not achieve it without the help of the desk clerk. He was very kind and helped get the wheelchair into the room after moving a desk chair and another chair out of the way. To say the room was overcrowded would be laughable. Two queen beds, two chairs, a desk, a big chest of drawers where the TV sat and my wife's electric wheelchair, yes overcrowded would sum it up We were trying to figure how best to get into the room, my wife can't lift her left leg more than a couple inches and the step up into the room was insurmountable even using the ramp, which was out of the question because of the steepness of the angle. Several guests from the room next door came to help and finally got her into the room. That's when we found out... As with other reviews, the bathroom was about as small as you could get. The sink in the bathroom prohibits walking into the room, face on, you have to sidestep into the room. the toilet was not a comfortable height. All in all, we were booked for two nights but decided to find different lodging the next day.

Took Pets Clean Room AC was great 👍 Beds were comfortable View was Awesome

Not much bad, it wasn't the Hilton but for a small Motel,Inn, it was great...

Beach is not very nice at all, king mattress on a queen bottom!!
