Homewood Suites by Hilton Myrtle Beach Oceanfront

The property was in a decent location, the beach was clean.

The elevators in check out day can be a little hectic. The water in the shower doesn’t drain very fast while using it.

Close to the beach, kids had a place to have fun, most of the employees were so nice!

I really didn’t like that I wasn’t told that this hotel uses a panic alerts bottom under the table for employees when I called they said they didn’t know about it! I sent a message and they said is a panic alert for their employees to be honest it’s a Bluetooth and anyone could be hearing! That and the sofa bed wasn’t that comfortable the extra blanket had a yellow stop on it! I changed it the next day! And the shower the water it’s so low that it take a while to take a shower!

I liked the indoor water activities and the availability of staff in this area. The checkout staff was very pleasant as well as the valet.

I didn't like that the room was not facing the water and all we could see was buildings and walls. The check-in staff was not pleasant at all. The employee didn't want to explain to me why she was charging my card $150.

The pools and the staff were the best thing about the facility!

The rooms need a bit of work. We had a room that had staples coming out of the carpet and ended up poking thru my foot when I stepped on it accidentally. The staff was kind enough to switch out rooms but the new room had the loudest air conditioning unit ever. We didn’t get much sleep that night as my 1 year old kept waking up every time the A/C came on. The bathrooms need some work. The walk in showers make the whole bathroom floor flood when someone is taking a shower even when careful. The detachable shower heads are super Wonky and make it incredibly dangerous getting out the shower cause of how slippery everything is.
