BUE MARINO Hotel & Rooftop Bar

We stayed in a Superior Double Room with Sea View - No Smoking. The rooms are not large, but they are well appointed, very clean and come with a beautiful view of the ocean and surrounds, as well as a small balcony. The rooftop restaurant and bar were the highlight of the hotel. Best view in Cala Gonone! We didn't bother going elsewhere for our meals as the menu was extensive and the view from the rooftop restaurant was magical. It is open to the sea breeze and was just a delight eating there. The staff were a bonus - you couldn't find a nicer group of people to look after you. The hotel is also right across the road from the wharf and booking booths for tours, so that was VERY handy. There is also a large public carpark just a few minutes' walk up the road, but you do have to pay for this and it is not cheap. But trying to find free parking close to the hotel is almost impossible. White line parking is free, blue line parking needs to be paid for.

Great location, super helpful and friendly staff, amazing sea view from the room.

We loved location and staff was super accommodating and friendly, but it's extremely noisy stay. No soundproofing in the room, can hear chairs dragging on the roof top even on the first or second floor. Town has no regards to people's rest: Surrounding bars play music until 01:00AM and start blowing leafs with extremely loud leaf-blower at 06:00AM, leaving you with no rest. Dated room (especially bathroom). Quality of roof-top bar should be improved - great view, but limited restaurant options and below average cocktails with very high price tag.
