Hotel Anticos Palathos

We love this hotel. Second time this year we have stayed and both times it was spectacular. The service of the hotel staff is really outstanding. We really have to commend Andrea, one of the lead staff members, he has so many helpful recommendations, advice and insightful knowledge about hidden gems in the local area. The breakfast is nice, in a beautiful setting, as the hotel itself is very very historic and the bedrooms, shower and sun terrace are really lovely. Definitely one of the most beautiful hotels we have ever stayed in.

It was perfect. Really grateful for the hotel's mosquito deterrent device in the bedroom - it was quite hot in September/October so there were a lot of mosquitoes in the town. Be careful not to get bitten at breakfast when sat outside - guests should try to use spray/ bug repellent roll on to ensure they don't get bitten too much in Sardinia!

It was close to everything we needed. Restaurants and shops. The night market was a nice experience to attend daily.

The parking is tricky if you have a car. It’s a little ways walk.

A charming historic home furnished with fantastic antique furniture but sympathetically modernised with great bathrooms. Very tasty breakfast.The staff were all extremely helpful and friendly,The hotel is very well situated within easy walking distance of local restaurants and shops.

This is not a complaint but something to be aware of .The hotel provides free parking less than 10 minutes walk away but dropping off your luggage at the front of the hotel can be challenging especially if you have a large car or if it is after 7pm when there are parking restrictions. If you ask the receptionist they will help you.

Unusual property with original features and rustic charm. Wonderfully comfortable beds, our studio was spacious and had access to two communal terraces for additional relaxation!
