View was excellent. The location of the place is exceptional. You can hear variety of birds of region specific to Munnar e.g. Malabar Whistling thrush, Bronzed Drone, White cheeked Barbet, Southern hill myna, Red checkered Bulbul etc. The hotel is surrounded by beautiful tea gardens and mountains. The staff - Lalit, Arvind and the Chef are dedicated, hardworking and customer friendly. Lalit made sure we felt comfortable, Tv was working, if we needed water or roti etc. The food was excellent. Lalit and Arvind also helped to get the heavy luggage upstairs and downstairs as there is no lift. This place is running because of staff like Lalit & freshly prepared food. It is popular with married couples who love to do photo shoot in the tea gardens - Bollywood style! So you are thoroughly entertained with couples making poses :)

But the owner needs to understand only view will not make guests happy. You need to provide a cosy room atmosphere. A good mattress, user friendly bathroom (no warm water most of the time)! We got backache due to worn out mattress! After you take shower, water is everywhere in the bathroom due to lack of good drainage! The room is very basic but it could have been improved with comfortable wooden chairs instead of uncomfortable plastic ones! The bathroom and room needs fresh paint as stains of leaked water everywhere. It is not a three star accommodation!

It's like 3star accomodation with reasonable price... fabulous stay with mountain and tea estates view....dinner and breakfast is very tasty....overall maintenance is too good specially washroom maintaining clean and hygienic....all staff are like friend....special thanks to Saran Raj and team...from the rooms we enjoyed funtastic view....over all good....if any body want to stay here don't think too much just book it and enjoy every minute.....THANK YOU GRUENBRRG TEA PLANTATION

Specifically for room with mountainview on groundfloor: very loud due to kitchen and entrance accross hallway. View of bushes, a house and some mountain. Staff willinglytry to help but communication was difficult and only manager is competent. Preordered meals are good but rarely on time. Roomservice entered directly after knocking.
