Ohana Villas

Lovely pool with an outdoor shower. There’s a hot tub looking thing attached to the pool, but I’m not sure what it does, if anything. Monkeys were in the trees right above the pool on the afternoon. The showers were HOT!!! Hottest showers I’ve had in Costa Rica ever! I stayed in Villa #2 and shared the kitchen with Villa #1. Very comfortable space and easy to share. The property is close to Main Street. It’s back about 75 m, and therefore quieter than a lot of properties that are right on the street. It’s not super luxurious, but it’s definitely very cleaning and very comfortable, and I would stay here again in a heartbeat. It was very good value for money. Although I didn’t need it there is ample parking for ATVs and cars athough the road up there is quite steep. Great place to stay.! Juan was very helpful but not intrusive.

The size of the villa was fantastic. Even bigger than it looked in the pictures, great to have space to workout.

Sadly when we visited the hot tub wasn’t working. Also the kitchen had a couple of bits that needed fixing.

We loved Ohana Villas, it was the perfect accommodation for our time in Santa Teresa. The villa was beautiful and clean, really close to the beach as well as lots of lovely restaurants. The host Juan was incredibly helpful and super friendly! I would definitely recommend.

Disappointed, it’s only fair to list the good points as well as the bad points , we booked a pool view room which had a very well equipped kitchen, it had a great size balcony where you could lounge out , pre check in communication from Juan was very good and he answered promptly, the pool was a nice size and the water was clean ,

We were disappointed with the room in several areas , we were downstairs so hearing the people moving around upstairs was a nuisance, we booked a pool view but were actually lower than the pool edge , the bathroom was a major disappointment, the door stuck , the lighting was poor, the shower was useless, the water from the shower head went in all directions including over the shower curtain, the towels were old and worn also a dirty off white colour, as this has been mentioned by previous customers in the feedback it’s particularly disappointing, the decking around the pool had several boards with broken edges , we left after one night and yes perhaps we could have given the owner a chance to rectify some of the issues, but we felt that he as he hadn’t addressed previous feedback then it was unlikely to happen, we feel the pictures can be slightly misleading regarding the pool view etc
