What I loved was the trek to the waterfall, and the guide assigned to us for activities. He is a former special forces officer who is super well trained and professional. He kept us safe in all our activities: archery, zipline, waterfall jumps, etc. He was excellent.

The food did not meet our expectations. The property is beautiful, but it is a bit abandoned and not well maintained. The staff and spaces are underutilized, and it is a bit depressing.

We booked this property as we loved the idea of being remote and doing something a bit different. We were late arriving, and the staff were waiting for us at the pick up point - the jeep ride and cable car into the property was so fun! Cool towels and drinks on arrival were lovely touch. The rooms were huge! Ours was next to river, with so much wildlife outside - monkeys and birds. The hike to the waterfall was INCREDIBLE and a must do! the food was good and the staff lovely and helpful

Some bug spray in the rooms and perhaps a little more furniture would be good. My recommendation to other travelers is to book additional nights in Ella as well as here as we did feel like we missed seeing the town and other things outside of this property.

The location is incredible. You wake up right next to the river. There is wildlife, peacocks, monkeys and more all around you. The waterfall walk is beautiful.

They really need to get check in organised. We arrived hungry and tired and it's a long jeep and cable car to the hotel. It still took nearly two hours to get our bags.
