The Old Dairy in Herne, near Herne Bay is a ground floor cottage that sleeps two and has one double bedroom.
Situated in the quiet village of Herne, near Herne Bay is the lovely cottage of The Old Dairy. This former dairy is all on the ground floor and offers welcoming accommodation, which is perfect for couples. The bright and airy cottage has a sitting room, a delightful dining area and welcoming fitted kitchen. The Old Diary sleeps two and has one double bedroom, plus a shower room. Outside, there is off road parking for one car and a garden with decked area which is perfect to dine in after a day out exploring the area. Within walking distance from The Old Dairy, is a Post Office with store and two pubs. Herne Bay is a lovely resort with many amenities and there are also many seaside towns and attractions nearby. The Old Dairy is a perfect cottage for all year round.
Amenities: Electric heating. Electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, shared use of owner's washing machine. TV with Freeview, DVD, selection of books/DVD/games. Fuel and power inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Cot and highchair available on request. Off road parking for 1 car. Shared use of the owner's garden with own decked area and furniture. Note: Access to the property is from a main road. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Shop and pub 1 min walk. Beach 30 mins walk. Please note: there is no access to laundry facilities at this property.

We enjoyed our stay in the old dairy, it's the ideal size for 2 people and by using the local buses there is no need to take your car out all the time.
The Windmill is very nice but it's wasted being open for only a couple of hours on a Sunday afternoon.
Margate is rubbish but the shell museum made the trip worthwhile and everywhere else we went was very nice to visit, our favourite was RAF Marston Museums.
