Beautiful setting, on river bank. Clean, modern and well equipped.

The property has a beautiful setting. Alongside a natural river course so there is good birdlife. Very peaceful with no traffic noise. Set in a wonderful "Zen like" garden. You are greeted by the owner and her two beautiful great Danes. The rooms are extremely comfortable alongside a sparkling pool. Meals other than a self catering facility are not provided which should not distract as restaurants are very close by including a wonderful breakfast facility. We have stayed here several times and return often because of its comfort and convenience

Lovely and cosy place with a beautiful garden, very spacious and well furnished room; we received many useful recommendations on activities in the surroundings as well as restaurants in Swellendam. We loved our stay at A Riverbed Guesthouse!
