The authenticity

Just have to be very careful wearing slippers on stairs and no one over 5’ 10” should stay?!

Clean, quiet, and very convenient. Everything was perfect!

What an absolutely beautiful and authentically Japanese apartment. We had the BEST time staying here. The onsen inside and out were perfect to soak your tired feet after a long day of sightseeing. And the reception staff were so helpful arranging massages at a close by establishment for us over the phone - as we don’t speak much Japanese. So many experiences and food within walking distance, and trains were close and easy to use with Apple Maps and an electronic suica card. Couldn’t have been happier. Honestly.

Absolutely nothing. Probably best for families with children over 8. Ours were 12, and loved the traditional beds on the floor.

We loved the home’s comfort and modern amenities. The bedding, furniture, baths x 2 and proximity to everything was fabulous

These were not major issue but good to note - There is no cooking other than boiling water and the stairs are steep. Be sure to ask for a clothes rack to dry things if you don’t want to use the dryer
