Bay of Fires Bush Retreat

We really enjoyed our stay and wish we had time to stay longer. Very impressed with how clean the shared shower and toilet facilities were. Loved the communal space and enjoyed cooking in the kitchen. The bed was comfortable and we were very warm with the electric blanket and heater. Would love to come back and stay longer

Beautiful setting. Great facilities and location.

The hosts were beyond generous with their kitchen supplies for those who like to cook their own meals. Even milk was provided. There were plenty of fireplaces for groups and the kitchen / lounge area was a lovely place to bird watch and relax. The Bunk House is the only large room for visiting groups and we did feel this encouraged more of a party group booking amidst the couples in tents who really wanted a retreat from noise and party vibe. Guests did however, keep to the quiet rules between 10pm and 8am so that helped. The wrens and parrots are so lovely to watch and the manager is friendly and helpful and staff clearly love the atmosphere of the bush retreat. So many thoughtful touches too. A great stay.

Beautiful 'room' (tent), extremely clean and comfortable. Gorgeous fully equipped kitchen. Quiet+++.

Incredibly overpriced for a tent with a shared bathroom. Yup, I know I should have read the listing more closely, but for $300 I assume I'm not walking in the dark to a bath house. Likewise, it is several minutes drive from the beach and any amenities.
