Pension Weinberger

In one simple word, everything was EXCELLENT: very very friendly family (the host and his family) with a wonderful energy and vibe, one of the best & diverse breakfasts I have experienced so far, high-quality facilities and really all you would think of/need is available at the property. The family that owns the place is there any time you need them, especially in the breakfast time when they discuss with all the guests and are there to satisfy any (culinary) wish one would have for breakfast :) The spa area is very nice, clean and relaxing: it consists of two saunas, some interesting showers and a relaxing area. The property is located 1min to the center of Obertauern, so all the restaurants and shops are within walking distance. Moreover, there is a ski lift right in front of the property.

Maybe worth mentioning: Going to the ski in the morning is really easy: you take the ski lift from the front of the property and there you are. However, coming back you need to take the skis off and take some steps on foot (4-5mins walk).

Extremely friendly staff, cleanliness, comfortable room, wellness, delicious breakfast and perfect location. Very good wine and drinks available in the fridge for all guests with good prices.

Our hosts were very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately we had awful weather so we could not ski or enjoy the ski area (we had nice weather only for 0,5 day out of the 3). I truly hope one day we can return to the same place when the weather is more favorable for winter sports. The location,price/value is just perfect of this pension! Highly recommended!
