Los Helechos

Lovely typically Spanish property with courtyard & roof terrace & pool. Covered, safe parking at a cheap rate. Liked the small cafe attached to the hotel where you could have snacks, breakfast & drinks.

Nothing negative.

Location is perfect for both the main squares and the seafront facilities. Atmospheric, and welcoming. Mainly Spanish guests.

The swimming pool and the cleanliness

The location in Sanlucar is good and the secure car park was a bonus. The inner courtyard yard is very attractive.

When I telephoned to make a reservation to park the car, I ask the female receptionist if she spoke English - she said no and put the phone down on me. I tried again and eventually she understood what was required. When we arrived she certainly wasn’t welcoming and put us in a small and dreary room where the heating wasn’t working. Thankfully a very helpful man had taken over and he kindly moved us to a much better room where the heater worked. Because of this woman we will never stay in Los Helechos again nor would I recommend it to anyone.
