Georgia Mare

Georgia Mare is a beautifully finished hotel located 40 meters from the sea. Spiros and Fouli are welcoming hosts! I felt like we were home or at grandma’s house! Very clean; variety of many foods at breakfast, to suit every taste! Everything freshly made.

Pamela and Trevor from Australia We loved the greeting from Spiros on arrival, he was so friendly and welcoming. He, his wife Fouly and all the staff were friendly and welcoming. Spiros was very informative with lots of information about Naxos, places to eat and things to do. The location was good for the beach town with all the cafes and restaurants and the port. Everything was walking distance. The room although a little small was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was amazing with so much to choose from with lots of home cooked pastries. Checkout at 11 am is great and you can leave your bags and even use the breakfast area if hanging around for your ferry.

Only that Spiros had to carry the bags up and down the stairs.😜

Spiros and his wife & staff were all incredibly kind and treat you like family. They were wonderful and I don’t say this lightly when I say they really go out of their way to make sure your stay is comfortable. I was greeted with a welcome drink and an overview map of places to go eat and activities to try. I knew it was going to be a good stay from the start. Breakfast was good. As a solo traveler they really made me feel welcome. My only regret is that I didn’t stay longer.
