Hotel Arcea Villaviciosa

Good location. Excellent breakfast. Three stars for a great price. Very attentive staff.

Party going on outside, but not hotel’s fault. Big holiday weekend.

La ubicación esta genial, alejado del centro pero los justo para llegar dando un pequeño paseo de 5 minutos andando. Tiene varios restaurantes y bares por la zona y cafeterías para desayunar. Aparcamos al lado de la entrada y tiene mucha más zona para aparcamiento en la calle.

Our room was of a reasonable size. The beds were OK, if a little lumpy. The bathroom was clean. The staff are wonderful, especially the very kind Esther on reception who was incredibly helpful with storage of our bicycle. The WiFi was good, and the hotel is located in a quiet area, about 10 minutes walk from Villaviciosa centre.

This is one of the worst value hotels I've stayed in. Compared to many others in Asturias, it is expensive for what you get. The room was shabby, with marked and stained walls. The shelves were dirty and the room was dusty. The windows are almost impossible to open and close, being so high you need window poles. You can either open the windows or draw the curtains, but not do both. The aircon is feeble and the fridge barely cools your food and water. The shower door had been replaced by a dirty plastic curtain.
