Sky19 Hotel

Location to Taipei main station was excellent. Plenty of food, coffee and restaurants in the vicinity.

Very dated, really needs an up date. Room details stated a balcony, technically correct but there is no way you it could be used for sitting out.

The location

Nothing

The room was very spacious, and the lounge area was also a comfortable place to relax after a long day. Having laundry facilities was very useful during our stay. The location was very convenient for getting around Taipei, and the neighborhood was nice to walk around, with plenty of restaurants nearby. It was also easy to get to and from the airport, which was a big plus.

One thing that was a little inconvenient was that the laundry room closed at 11 PM, even though our clothes were still in the dryer. The machines were also automatically stopped at 11 PM, so our clothes weren't fully dry yet. Having access to the laundry facilities a little later would have been helpful. The beds were also quite hard. I don't usually experience back pain, but unfortunately, I did have some back pain during our stay, which I think may have been related to the mattress. The area is very central, but there are quite a few homeless people around the neighborhood. Some approached us while we were walking, which could occasionally feel uncomfortable, especially at night.

Excellent location near Taipei Station, and rooms were quite spacious

Bed was very thin and hard on the back. Toilets and bathtub were not very clean as well and we ended up not using the tub at all which was a waste. Not sure if it was the sewage but the toilet had a smell too. For a similar price or lower, there are better hotels to pick from
