The room is small but clean and comfortable and had everything I needed. I also didn't feel like it was too busy or noisy even if it were on top of a pub. The staff are also very friendly and accommodating. The location is also perfect for walking to and from everywhere important in the city.
Since it's centrally located, the streets are not exactly quiet and the crowd around the neighbourhood is not great but it didn't bother me throughout my stay.

Very nice apartment (3br) - had everything needed, super nice kitchen and great shower. We were very comfortable there.
The location is very central and convenient, but the immediate area around Talbot Street can feel quite sketchy, particularly at night. I didn’t feel entirely comfortable walking in the surrounding streets after dark. I wouldn’t call it unsafe, but it’s definitely something to be aware of when booking.
