Comfortable, spacious apartment in Avignon’s old walled city, a great base to explore the city and surrounding area. Walking distance to train and bus station. Pleasant local cafes, restaurants and supermarket at the end of the street.

Front door key is removed horizontally (that caught us out at first).

It felt like I was in a French home, which was what I wanted, and there was everything I needed. It’s very close to the Palais des Papes, numerous restaurants, the Halles indoor food market and local shops. The apartment doesn’t have air con as it’s a listed building, but there are three fans.

Nothing. I knew about the absence of air con in advance so can’t complain.

The unit is just like you see in the photos; it is tidy and clean. You feel like living in a house just like the locals. The location is excellent and within 5 minutes walk to almost everything. The host is very attentive; she answers the messages within minutes and she is very helpful. In addition, she gave us very helpful local information. The unit is ground floor and no stairs to deal with. Everything you need as a traveler are sufficiently supplied. I highly recommend this property.

Location, facilities (washer dryer coffee machine) and lots of space in the apartment
