Hotel Vredehof

Lovely old building and easy to find. Great honesty bar and very friendly staff. Nice breakfast. Would stay again.

Nothing specific. If parking at the end under a tree however expect a lot of mess from the birds…..

What a charming hotel, which has been recently required by lovely host Robin. Our room was really spacious with a separate toilet and sink and shower room within the bedroom. Plenty of storage and a lovely view over the garden. The delicious breakfast was served in the orangery. A good choice of food and beverages and it was lovely that Robin was around at breakfast time interacting with guests and refreshing the breakfast station. We stayed for 2 nights. The bed was very comfortable. There is private off-road parking. The bus stop for Bruges is outside the hotel and doesn't take long to get to the bus station. There is an honesty bar in the hotel.

The hotel is a little tired but has only just been taken over and the new owner was telling us of his plans for a refresh and we would love to come back to see those changes.The building is old and the stairs are very narrow and steep, so could be a challenge for people with mobility issues.

Location was perfect with a bus stop outside. All staff were friendly and helpful. Bed was comfortable and shower was great. Building was beautiful and full of old charm and character.

Fantastic Garden with many seats and loungers. Bus into Bruges right outside the door which goes to the bus terminal and back. Good breakfast. Bar on site.

No aircon, so room was very hot.
