The front area must be given a facelift and kept spotless clean.

The rooms were clean and comfortable enough. Mattress was not great, just cotton, no foam. Water hot, walls and floors clean, AC working, tea/coffee boiler in room is good.

Check-in and pricing was bad. The two men on the desk were mystified that their arriving customer was a foreigner. They couldn't speak to me properly, couldn't say whether my booking was there or not. Eventually they called the owner/manager and he said they didn't have the C-forms ready but would have me fill it later. I said fine, but they never had me fill anything for the C-form. They don't know what they're doing. Then in my second room, which I had booked for my colleague, I added a person, so the driver could sleep inside. So double, instead of single, occupancy. The listed price on a Tuesday, with tax, for single was Rs. 1391, and for double, Rs. 1492. But when I added the second person, they charged me Rs. 500. So that room cost Rs. 1891, way off the mark of the listing on Booking.com. The third problem is not in the management, but just the location. Very congested area, not pleasant like so many places in Pune are. Lots of biryani restaurants, which is good, but one at least was not happy to serve a single woman. Not comfortable.
