Fantastic location right in the middle of the old town of Florence - so easy to walk everywhere and felt safe in the location. Great sized apartment and reasonably quiet.

It would have been nice to have some 'welcoming' coffee for the coffee maker for the first day. The description also made me think the washing machine was in the room - it is in the communal area on the first floor. I had no problems with it and was thankful to have it, but was confused as it isn't in the room.

The location was perfect and right in the heart of Florence between Sant Croce and Uffizi. The bistro next door became an evening ritual too. A pop shop was just a block away. The apartment is very generous in size. Plenty of options for morning coffee. Secure building and clean.

We were in Florence during torrential rains and the apartment was damp. The host was very quick to communicate about the leak and it did not cause issues. The terrace would have been nice but it was not dry enough. The rooms have their own AC system so when the doors stay shut it can be very cool.

I was informed a few days before my stay the grotto hot tub was not working. This was a big reason why I rented this place. Never got a reply when I inquired if it would be fixed by the time of our stay. I was hoping to get some sort of refund because I was not able to use it! So disappointed!! It was so pretty too and would have felt amazing after a long day walking around! There were also over 20 air fresheners throughout this apartment. Anyone with a sensitive nose would not have been able to stay. No idea what smell they were trying to cover up but it was so weird. There was nothing inviting at all about the terrace area. Finally the second "bedroom" is a pull out couch - not an actual bed! They really should just put a regular bed in that bedroom. Extremely uncomfortable!!!!
