The Florance

Outstanding boutique hotel in the heart of Launceston, right across the street for City Park. Our host was absolutely lovely to visit with us - she advised us on a walking tour (self guided) and restaurants. Breakfast was very good - cereals, fruits, eggs, toast, avocado, etc with selection of coffees and teas. We enjoyed the conservatory with friends, bringing our own wine and cheese and our host happily provided utensils and plates. The room was very comfortable and outfitted with a heating blanket for the bed and high end soaps and shampoo in the bath. Highly recommend!

The communal breakfast was great, always sat on the long central table and enjoyed the company of fellow guests. The breakfast was simple and delicious. The staff were wonderful and very accommodating.

Was a little surprised by the size of the bathroom. Although it was spotlessly clean, we are used to having a more spacious area. This is the first time we have stayed in a guest house, so didn't really know what to expect. In the end, we left happy traveler's.
