Alfons Boutique Hotel

My stay at Alfons Boutique hotel felt like a retreat. Excellent location, beautiful room, outstanding reception service and delicious breakfast. I travel around the world and this hotel provides me with everything I need in order to keep coming back. Thank you all at Alfons Hotel for such a great experience!

Very nice hotel, very nice people. Good location, walkable distance to the City center. One of the best breakfast experiences. The late checkin procedure was simple and worked perfectly.

Maybe the only things we did not like were the pillows - too large for our tastes, but... this is only to point out something...

The automated gates were a feeling of Howards!

Breakfast needs a variety, only processed food served. Bread wasn’t fresh, no fresh fruits.

The room was spacious and clean. The bed was big and really comfortable. The lady at the reception was really nice and helped out with recommendations around the city and the area. Once we made a request at reception in the morning, it was taken care of immediately. Very convenient location, close to the center.

ACCIBILITY - The hotel is not accessible, gotta go up/down the stairs even after using the elevator so be prepared to carry your luggage. HEATING - once you use the shower the heating stops for a while. We came back one night and the room was freezing, the heating didn't start until 1am. There was no heat and we couldn't get extra blankets. The reception was "closed" and the guy in the "online reception" was useless - offered to get us blankets tomorrow (as if that would help)- we had to go to sleep with all the layers of clothes we had and we were freezing . When we complained in the morning they just claimed that "the heating went on eventually and nobody else complained" and that was it. Which brings me to the last issue - RECEPTION HOURS - I get that there's no receptionist at night, but be prepared that if *anything* goes wrong after reception hours you're gonna be left to your own device, don't expect any help from the hotel whatsoever. They also don't seem willing to admit to their issues or compensate a bad experience.
