On ground floor so wasn't able to have curtains open as we were on street level. Shower entrance small and bath didnt fill up due to faulty plug.

The chicken was unnecessarily filled with friction. It said specifically in both.com that took time was between 4 and 9 PM. The HOTEL contacted me and said the desk would be closed at 6 PM and what time would I arrive. They said they couldn't give me an access code to the hotel until I had paid. Why was I not? Why did they not take the payment through Booking.com like every other reservation? Also, when I pressed about the check-in hours, they said those were inaccurate so there was quite a bit of back-and-forth which castration I had to stop on my road trip to pay for parking check in early get the key leave and go on the rest of my road trip and come back. This was unnecessary hassle. The gal at the front desk was lovely when I interacted with her and like I said, I liked the property, but this increased friction.

The location was convenient, but unfortunately the overall experience didn't justify the price. We paid around €300 for two nights in July, which felt far too expensive for what was offered. Before arrival, we were asked to prepay in order to receive the access codes because we were told reception closed at 6pm. However, Booking.com stated reception was open until 9pm, which was confusing and made the process unnecessarily stressful. The staff were also not particularly helpful. The bathroom shower was leaking and had visible mould, and because the room was at ground level with windows facing the main street, there was very little privacy. Overall, I wouldn't expect to pay more than around €80 per night for a room of this standard.
